Dr. Sandeep Peddi, the owner and Principal Dentist at Macquarie Dental Care Belconnen, has a deep-seated passion for dentistry that traces back to his education in India. He earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science Karnataka, one of India’s prestigious dental institutions. Driven by a desire to refine his skills and explore international opportunities, he relocated to Australia in 2006, where he embarked on an impressive academic journey. He achieved a Graduate Certificate in Health Science from UNISA Adelaide in 2007, followed by an Advanced Diploma in Dental Technology in 2009, and an Advanced Diploma in Dental Hygiene in 2010. This extensive education laid the foundation for his successful career in dentistry.

Following the completion of his studies, Dr. Peddi moved to Tamworth, where he gained hands-on experience as a Dental Hygienist. His expertise grew, and he successfully completed the Australian Dental Council exams in Sydney in 2015, earning full accreditation to practice dentistry in Australia. This accomplishment allowed him to join Armidale Dental Care in 2016, where he soon became the principal dentist. In 2017, he took a significant step by purchasing the practice, demonstrating his commitment to the community and his desire to create a state-of-the-art dental facility.

At Armidale Dental Care, Dr. Peddi’s focus was on providing comprehensive dental services, including crown and bridgework, surgical extractions, root canal therapy, cosmetic dentistry, complex dental rehabilitation, and denture fabrication. He was instrumental in introducing modern techniques and innovative approaches to patient care. His approach to dentistry revolves around patient education and the crucial link between oral health and overall well-being. This perspective has driven him to pursue over 30 continuing education courses in Australia and overseas to stay at the forefront of dental advancements. He is also pursuing a Post-Graduate in Dental Prosthetics in New Zealand, which underscores his commitment to providing exceptional dental care.

He enjoys cooking, referring to his culinary experiments as “food creations.” For him, good food and general well-being are closely intertwined. He also finds relaxation in watching movies and playing cricket, which he indulges in when time allows.
